(New York, NY) – Tuesday in Manhattan, the law firm of Jeff Anderson & Associates will: Announce the filing of 9 lawsuits against Boy Scouts of America (BSA) and its Greater New York Councils for sexual abuse as minors of 9 survivors by 9 adult Scout leaders; Reveal that one of the lawsuits made possible by New York’s Child Victims Act pursues a claim of nuisance. BSA has created and continues to maintain a nuisance by concealing sexual abuse of scouts by its present and former leaders in its secret Perversion Files. All 9 lawsuits include claims of negligence.
