On Tuesday, September 7, 2021, a press conference will be held to:
- Announce a federal civil lawsuit filed in United States District Court of Minnesota on behalf of Plaintiff Minor Doe 1 against Anton “Tony” Lazzaro.
- Gisela Castro Medina is also named as a co-conspirator for grooming and recruiting Minor Doe 1 for the sex trafficking enterprise.
- The lawsuit also alleges Lazzaro, and co-conspirators attempted to silence the minor plaintiff and her parents to prevent them from reporting Lazzaro’s criminal conduct to law enforcement.
- The attorneys for Lazzaro are also named for conspiracy to “gag” the minor and her parents, attempting to enable the criminal sex trafficking enterprise to continue.
Notes: Lazzaro and Medina were federally indicted on sex trafficking charges and Lazzaro’s criminal trial is set to begin October 18, 2021, in federal court in St. Paul, MN.
