Archdiocese of San Francisco Internal Review Board Minutes Reveal Archbishop Cordileone’s Dangerous and Deceptive Practices of Concealing Child Sex Abuse

“This is an unprecedented peek behind Cordileone’s clerical curtain.” – Jeff Anderson

(San Francisco, CA)—Tomorrow, Jeff Anderson will disclose details and release excerpts from the Archdiocese of San Francisco minutes, providing COLOR COMMENTARY and interpreting “clerical speak.” The minutes expose Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone’s deceptive and dangerous practices of concealing the truth and the continued risk of exposing childhood sexual abuse.

When: Wednesday, April 16th, 1:00 PM CST

Where: Live-streamed on Jeff Anderson & Associates’ YouTube channel

What: On April 8, Bankruptcy Judge Dennis Montali, presiding over the Archdiocese of San Francisco’s bankruptcy, ordered that the meeting minutes held by the Archdiocese of San Francisco’s Independent Review Board be made public. The Independent Review Board is led by Archbishop Cordileone and purports to conduct independent inquiries into allegations of childhood sexual abuse in the Archdiocese.

Today, those meeting minutes have been publicly released, exposing a continued pattern of deceit, deception, and danger within the Archdiocese.

The minutes also reveal:

  1. Archbishop Cordileone has concealed a list of accused priests for years despite repeated demands by survivors and advocates for transparency;
  2. The Archdiocese of San Francisco deems allegations of childhood sexual abuse against priests “unsubstantiated” more than fifty-percent of the time it reviews complaints; and
  3. Archbishop Cordileone and the Internal Review Board have continually chosen to protect predator priests rather than believe survivors.

“We applaud the Survivor’s Committee and all the survivors for their tireless efforts to reveal the truth and protect the children. Unfortunately, the past is now prologue – the tale of untruths continue.” – Jeff Anderson
