17 New Alleged Perpetrators Publicly Identified in the Archdiocese of New York

(New York, NY) – Through lawsuits filed under the New York Child Victims Act, the law firm of Jeff Anderson & Associates has identified 17 new alleged perpetrators in the Archdiocese of New York:

Out of the 17 alleged perpetrators publicly identified for the first time in the Archdiocese of New York, two may still be alive and have access to children:

Fr. Martin J. Biglin: Biglin is currently the weekend assistant at Our Lady of Perpetual Help – Saint Agnes Parish in Highlands, New Jersey. Fr. Biglin is identified in a lawsuit filed under the New York Child Victims Act accusing him of sexually abusing a minor from approximately 1980 – 1981 while he was assigned in the Archdiocese of New York.

Joseph Fusco (lay teacher): Fusco is identified in a lawsuit filed under the New York Child Victims Act alleging child sexual abuse from approximately 1983 – 1984 when Fusco worked at John A. Coleman High School in Kingston New York.  According to Fusco’s resume posted on St. John’s University’s website, Fusco is the “Principal’s Academy Adjunct Associate Professor.”

Survivors of sexual abuse have until this Friday, August 13, 2021, to file a lawsuit under the New York CVA. If you were sexually abused as a child in New York, no matter how old you were, no matter when the abuse occurred, you still have rights, and you can still take action, but time is running out.
