Fr. Edwin Modicowitz was ordained a priest of the Capuchin Franciscans. In 1998, a former altar boy accused Fr. Modicowitz of child sexual abuse in 1965 or 1966 at St. Denis’ in Westwood, Massachusetts. In an internal memo, the Provincial who oversaw Fr. Modicowitz, acknowledged removing him from the parish due to “problems.”
