A civil lawsuit filed in 2020 alleged that Fr. Stephen J. Litz, Jr. sexually abused a child starting in approximately 1965 when the child was approximately 11 years old. Fr. Litz is included in the Diocese of Syracuse’s list of “Clergy with Credible Allegations of Sexual abuse of a Minor.” According to the Diocese of Syracuse, Fr. Litz is deceased.
