Archdiocese of Pennsylvania Second Grand Jury Report (2011)

John P. Connor was listed in a 2011 Grand Jury Report following a previous Grand Jury investigation which uncovered evidence that over the preceding thirty-five years more than 120 priests serving in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia had been accused of sexually abusing hundreds of adolescents and younger children, and that, with rare exceptions, the Archdiocese did not report these accusations to public authorities. which led to new information about more recent abuse. The evidence established that Cardinal Bevilacqua and his predecessor knowingly transferred priests who had been credibly accused of molesting children to new assignments where they retained access to, and control over, children. The previous grand jury report can be found here.
