James Phillips

Brother James Phillips OSB was born in Rochester NY on November 23, 1948. Brother Jim entered the novitiate at Saint Johns Abbey and professed simple vows July 11, 1970.

Brother Jim has served as missionary at Saint Augustines in Nassau the Bahamas, infirmarian on Saint Johns campus and dormitory prefect at Saint Johns Preparatory School.

Working in the infirmary, Brother Jim is known to be the historian of Saint Raphael Hall.

In 2002, Abbot John Klassen, OSB placed Brother Jim on a restricted status under a safety plan.
