Br. Mattew (Mateo) Guerrero
Br. Matteo Guerrero was a member of the Franciscan Friars who was accused of child sexual abuse which occurred in the 1970s, 1990s, and 2000s. Br. Guerrero was named in a 2008 civil lawsuit filed against the Franciscan Friars and Old Mission Santa Barbara. In 2010, it is believed Br. Guerrero was living in San Juan Bautista, CA. Br. Guerrero’s status as a priest, his current whereabouts, and whether he has access to children are unknown.
