Fr. Joseph Finch was ordained in the Archdiocese of Omaha and also worked in the Dioceses of Phoenix and
Albany. In 2018, Fr. Finch was named on the Archdiocese of Omaha’s “List of Substantiated Claims of Clergy Sexual
Abuse of or Sexual Misconduct with a Minor” in the section titled “Substantiated allegations of misconduct with and/
or the abuse of a minor which took place after the implementation of Safe Environment standards in 2002.” Fr. Finch
reportedly left the Diocese of Albany in early 2018. His status as a priest, current whereabouts, and whether he has
access to children are unknown.
