Timothy McCarthy: Substantiated Claims of Sexual Abuse of a Minor

Timothy McCarthy

Father Timothy McCarthy, DOB 06/26/46, was ordained in 1973. He served at several parishes in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis (“Archdiocese”) between 1973 and 1991. The Archdiocese has included Father McCarthy on its official list of clergy members who have had credible claims against them of sexually abusing a minor in the Archdiocese . According to the Archdiocese, Father McCarthy was permanently removed from ministry in 1991, and is believed to be currently residing in Oakdale, Minn., or St. Paul, Minn.
