Notes: Fr. Timothy Keppel is a priest of the Congregation of the Resurrection who worked in the Diocese of San Bernardino. In 2013, the Congregation of the Resurrection announced that Fr. Timothy Keppel allegedly engaged in sexual misconduct involving a minor in the late 1970s in the Diocese of San Bernardino. Following an investigation, both the Diocese of San Bernardino and the Congregation of the Resurrection concluded that there was reasonable cause to suspect that inappropriate sexual behavior with a minor did occur. Consequently, Fr. Keppel was removed from public ministry. Fr. Keppel was included in the Diocese of San Bernardino’s list of clergy credibly accused of child sexual abuse. According to the Diocese of San Bernardino, Fr. Keppel is permanently banned from ministry in the Diocese. Fr. Keppel’s current whereabouts, status as a priest, and whether he has access to children are unknown
