At least one survivor has come forward alleging child sexual abuse by Br./Fr. Vasquez, in the 2000s while he worked at the Franciscan Friary in Santa Barbara. Br./Fr. Vasquez has been named in a 2008 civil lawsuit. It is believed Br./Fr. Vasquez may have died in 2016. Prior to his death he may have been living in Los Banos, CA. Br./Fr. Vasquez’s current whereabouts and whether he has access to children are unknown.
