Brother Karl Walczak - O'Dea High School

Due to allegations of abuse, Brother Karl Walczak was forced to step down in October of 2012 as principal at O’Dea High School in Seattle. Brother Walczak was appointed principal at O’Dea in 2011, and worked in various positions at Christian Brother schools in Illinois, California and Hawaii. According to published reports he was the principal of Damien High School in Honolulu for 10 years while he served there in the 1970’s, ’80’s and ’90’s, and more recently was the president of Brother Rice High School in Chicago before moving to O’Dea.
