Jorge Patricio Pintado Herrera
In 2002, Ecuadorian priest Fr. Jorge Patricio Pintado Herrera was criminally charged after sexually abusing a 16-year-old altar boy at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Inwood, New York. In 2003, he pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a child and was sentenced to five days of community service.
The Archdiocese of New York claimed Fr. Jorge Patricio Pintado Herrera was not authorized to work in the church at the time, and that his last formal tie to the Archdiocese of New York ended in October 2000.
Fr. Jorge Patricio Pintado Herrera worked at St. Joan of Arc Church in the Bronx, New York; Good Shepherd Church in Inwood, New York; and Holy Cross Church in Manhattan, New York.
