John Joseph Brady: Archdiocesan Clergy Credibly Accused of Sexual Abuse of a Minor

On February 26, 2004, Fr. John Joseph Brady of the Archdiocese of New York was named in a lawsuit filed by a survivor of child sexual abuse. At the time of the alleged abuse, Fr. Brady was a pastor at St. Catherine’s of Genoa in Manhattan, New York. Fr. Brady is alleged to have sexually abuse  the survivor from 1944 to 1948 when she was seven to eleven years old. Fr. Brady also allegedly sexually abused the survivor’s sister and other girls.
