Fr. Gerald G. Grieman was ordained in the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. In 2006, a man reported to the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis that Fr. Grieman sexually abused him as a child when he was at St. John the Baptist in New Brighton, Minnesota, in the early 1990s. The Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis referred the allegations to civil authorities who declined to prosecute. In 2010, the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis reportedly sent a letter of good standing, mentioning the allegations, on behalf of Fr. Grieman to the Diocese of San Diego, California. Fr. Grieman was included on the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis’ list of “Priests with credible claims against them of sexual abuse of a minor.” Fr. Grieman is believed to be living in Tempe, Arizona. Fr. Grieman’s status as a priest and whether he has access to children are unknown.
