In 2002, Fr. Edward J. Dober was accused of sexually abusing a boy in 1990 to 1991 while he was working at Queen of Angels Junior Seminary in Los Angeles. The Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ review board deemed the accusation unfounded. In 2007, the Archdiocese settled a lawsuit accusing Fr. Dober of child sexual abuse. Fr. Dober was included in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ list of priests accused of sexual misconduct involving minors. As of 2017, he was an active priest working in Norwalk, CA at St. John of God. His status as a priest, current whereabouts, and whether he has access to children are unknown.
