Deacon Donald Dickson was ordained a deacon in the Archdiocese of New York. It is believed that he worked at the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary in Hawthorne, New York, Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York, Ruth Taylor Nursing Home in Valhalla, New York, and Westchester County Correctional Facility in Valhalla, New York. In 1993, Deacon Dickson was received into the Episcopal Church at Trinity-St. Paul Church in New Rochelle, New York, where he worked as a senior warden and pastor to those living on the streets in downtown New Rochelle. In 1999, he made his profession of vows to the Brotherhood of St. Gregory, a religious community in the Episcopal Church. Thereafter, he joined the staff of Fessenden House in Yonkers, New York, a home for men in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. He is believed to have lived at Fessenden House until his death. Deacon Dickson was named on the Archdiocese of New York’s 2019 “List of Archdiocesan Clergy Credibly Accused of Sexual Abuse of a Minor or the Subject of Eligible IRCP Compensation Claims” in the section “The following archdiocesan clergy have been credibly accused of sexual abuse of a minor.” The details of the
