Br. Charles Loofborough, C.Ss.R.
At least one survivor has come forward alleging child sexual abuse by Br. Charles Loofborough, C.Ss.R., a member of the Redemptorist Order, from approximately 1978 to 1981. Br. Loofborough has been named in at least one civil lawsuit. He was included in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ list of priests accused of sexual misconduct involving minors. Br. Loofborough’s clerical status, current whereabouts, and whether he has access to children are unknown.
