Rev. Elias Aiyako is included in the “Members Assigned Outside the Chicago Province” section, which states “These priests were members of the Chicago Province at one time but are no longer under the jurisdiction of the Chicago Province. They have been credibly accused of the sexual abuse of a minor. When they were transferred from the Chicago Province, a full disclosure was made about the allegation of abuse along with a recommendation that these confreres should not be allowed to perform public ministry or to have any contact with minors. It was also recommended that they be carefully monitored.”
