Fr. Michael Hannon was ordained a priest in the Diocese of Alexandria. In 1963, Fr. Hannon reportedly left the Diocese of Alexandria. He was incardinated into the Diocese of Brooklyn in 1982. Fr. Hannon was included in the Diocese of Alexandria’s 2019 list of “Names of Clergy accused,” in the subsection “Diocesan Clergy – Deceased.” According to the Diocese of Alexandria, a review was conducted of Fr. Hannon’s file. The file reportedly revealed evidence of multiple allegations of sexual abuse of minor boys in approximately the 1960s. The details of the sexual abuse allegations,
including where the abuse occurred, are unknown.
