Fr. Henry Xavier Vetter was a Passionist priest. Multiple survivors have come forward alleging child sexual abuse by Fr. Vetter from 1953 to 1973. In 2003, Fr. Vetter was named in a civil lawsuit. Fr. Vetter has reportedly since fled to Mexico. Fr. Vetter was included in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ list of priests accused of sexual misconduct involving minors.
