Laurence Boschetto: Accused of Sexual Misconduct

Brother Laurence Boschetto of the Congregation of Christian Brothers, Archdiocese of New York, allegedly sexually abused a fellow brother. In 2005, Br. Robert Hoatson filed a lawsuit naming Br. Boschetto as a defendant and perpetrator of child sexual abuse. Br. Boschetto allegedly plied Br. Hoatson with illegal drugs and sexually abused him in Ventnor City, New Jersey, and at Blessed Sacrament High School in New Rochelle, New York. The sexual abuse allegedly occurred over a period of five years. Br. Hoatson’s appeal was dismissed by the New York Supreme Court in October 2009.

Br. Laurence Boschetto became a brother for the Congregation of Christian Brothers in 1974. He Boschetto has since left religious life and pursued a career in advertising and marketing.
