Names of 130 New York Boy Scout Leaders Accused of Sexual Abuse to be Released Tuesday


(Manhattan, NY) – At a news conference on Tuesday in Manhattan, the law firm of Jeff Anderson & Associates will:

  • Release the names of more than 130 Boy Scout leaders who worked in New York and were named in Boy Scouts of America (BSA) “Perversion Files” as having allegations of sexually abusing minors;
  • Demand that BSA release the identities, background information, and files on all BSA perpetrators in New York who have been accused of sexual misconduct with minors;
  • Discuss the troubling magnitude of sexual abuse of minors in Boy Scouts by Scout leaders over decades;
  • Discuss how survivors of sexual abuse by Boy Scout leaders and others can seek justice under New York’s Child Victims Act.
