These reports contain the names, photos and/or assignment histories of individuals who have been accused of committing sexual offenses against minors. While lawsuits were filed involving many of these alleged perpetrators, the vast majority of the claims against these individuals have been settled or have not been fully evaluated in a civil court. Accordingly, the allegations should be considered just allegations and should not be considered proved or substantiated in a court of law. All individuals should be considered innocent until proven guilty. In some situations, the statute of limitations has expired preventing the cases from being heard in a court of law.
Through litigation and bankruptcy cases in Minnesota, Chicago, Joliet, and Milwaukee, we have forced the production of a large number of documents, including personnel files, related to hundreds of priests who have been accused of sexual abuse of minors.
We have released many of these documents and priest files to expose secrets and create transparency for dioceses who have long kept this information from the public.
We have also released depositions, timelines and key documents on priests and officials. You can find this information, including full priest files, by clicking the links below.
