Clergy Accused of Sexual Abuse in the Diocese of Greensburg

The Diocese of Greensburg is comprised of Armstrong, Fayette, Indiana, and Westmoreland counties. With a Catholic population nearing 140,000, the Diocese operates 78 parishes, 11 elementary schools, two junior-senior high schools, and three non-diocesan Catholic schools.

In 2018, the Pennsylvania Grand Jury uncovered evidence of sexual abuse of minors committed by dozens of priests in the Diocese of Greensburg, as well as evidence showing that bishops and other administrators not only knew of this conduct, but regularly placed the priests in ministry following a complaint of child sexual abuse. Detailed examples of specific cases of child sexual abuse perpetrated by Father Edmond A. Parrakow, Father Raymond Lukac, and Father Robert Moslener are also included.
