Fr. Joseph Keyrouze was included on the Diocese of Albany’s lists of “Clergy Credibly Accused While Serving in the Diocese of Albany.” According to the Diocese of Albany’s list, Fr. Keyrouze was removed from ministry in 1999. However, according to media reports, Fr. Keyrouze retired from St. William’s in Troy in 1999 and continued to live in residence at a neighboring parish, Sacred Heart. After his removal or retirement, it is reported that Fr. Keyrouze occasionally said mass or performed services for funerals at St. William’s. From 1999 until his death, Fr. Keyrouze’s whereabouts, his status as a priest, and whether he had access to children are unknown.
