Fr. Anthony Joseph Vader was ordained in 1952. In 1987 Fr. Vader became a member of the Archdiocese of Chicago Review Board. There have been at least 9 allegations of child sexual abuse made against Fr. Vader. Fr. Vader was removed from public ministry in 2003 and has been named in one civil lawsuit. Fr. Vader is included on the Archdiocese of Chicago’s list of “Clergy with Substantiated Allegations of Sexual Misconduct with Minors.” Fr. Vader’s status as a priest, exact whereabouts, and whether he had access to children from 2003 until his death are unknown.
