Fr. Robert S. Shinos worked in the Diocese of Albany for four decades. In January 2004, the Diocese of Albany received a complaint alleging Fr. Shinos had sexually abused a boy decades before in Albany. By March 2004, a diocesan review board deemed the allegation credible and Fr. Shinos was placed on leave. Fr. Shinos is listed on the Diocese of Albany’s lists of “Clergy Credibly Accused While Serving in the Diocese of Albany.”
