In 1972, Fr. Edward C. Pratt was ordained in the Diocese of Albany, where he worked for the next three decades until he was removed from ministry. In June 2002, Fr. Pratt was one of six priests removed from active ministry who Church leaders said “had sexually abused minors at least once.” Fr. Pratt is listed on the Diocese of Albany’s lists of “Clergy Credibly Accused While Serving in the Diocese of Albany.” Fr. Pratt’s status as a priest, current whereabouts, and whether he has access to children are unknown.
